Butterfly Solumbra Mask

So, painting on fabric has been a new experience for me recently -- and I love it!!  This awesome lady who is a serious athlete and bicyclist was recently diagnosed with skin cancer on her face.  She now has to wear a face mask any time she's outdoors for extended amounts of time.  She commissioned me to paint something bright and colorful that would also echo the curve of her smile (hence, the antennae and wings!).  This is the design I came up with, and she is now wearing it while touring on her bike all over New Zealand.  :o)
